haha "train your jubblies" Have you got a catalogue. My eldest daughter was the same when she was a bit younger than yours. Found some weeny ones in Kays catalogue. Or perhaps ebay? They have "shops" on their seeling underwear in all sorts of sizes: new, of course!

We went to M and S with my 11 year old,they have like vest top things as well if the bra's are too small. But get her measured properly as you might be surprised by the result (we were )

I do remember her first ones though... they actually came from Tesco I think! In the girls dept. THey kinda go up in ages then merge into back and bra sizes.

Hers was a little miss naughty one... pretty little cotton number, padded!

Can I just add.... that even if she was dragging 40F's along the floor (she wasn't, but if she was)... my daughter would not have even accompanied me down the bra aisle... there is no way she would have agreed to being properly measured!

I had to trial and error it, take them home, and ask her 'how it was all going!'

You know how you keep their baby things? Well I also kept my daughter's first bra.

katty - I know the feeling. Looking for small bras is a completely new experience for me. I think I was 13 when i had my first one but my mother was never very understanding when it came to getting me proper bras and by golly I needed them! So I'm determined daughter has the support () she needs - just in case she ends up like me.

She's all grown up now and extremely pleased with her boobs (we caught her once a couple of years ago, sitting in the lounge with her head down her t-shirt saying to herself "they are perfect!" )

She sleeps in her bra... she is so determined to preserve them!

Bloody hell Cariad your daughter's mates are in padded bras at 12-13 years old . Thats shocking. Regarding your question I am not sure where you can get that specific bra. You could just go into different shops that sell bras and ask for that bra you want

My 73 year old father spent her birthday party walking around with his mouth open in shock.

My first bra came from Tesco, I think it was a 30AA. I felt so grown up, but equally loved and hated that feeling at the same time...if that makes any sense.

Has she tried on the 28AA bras, Cariad? Even if she's a 26 inch back the 28 might be ok.

This is true my daughter wears like a cami vest top over her bra so the lads can't see her bra through her polo shirt and after 2 years of wearing a bra she still won't go and buy them herself

I took my daughter to M&S Cariad but am dubious about their sizing.

I asked my mum to buy my first bra (I too was 13) and she said, you can do it yourself (think she was embarrassed). My mate came with me and off we went to Marks.

I was soooooooooo proud (and glad!!) in school that I wasn't wearing a vest anymore cos all the girls had been wearing a bra since first yr (yr 7 now). So every time my bra strap fell over my shoulder, I would say loudly to my mates..."Does your strap do that cos it's sooooooo annoying"

And I wanted my bra to be pinged by the boys....cos when I wore a vest I was shit scared they wouldn't find my strap!

I know you said you've tried M&S but they do a couple of bra sets called Angel bras which they do in a 28AA extra short. You could buy an extra hook and sew it at the back to tighten it up a bit.

Cariad, Figleaves.com start at 28A but I think they're pretty good at sourcing the less 'common' sizes too.

Give them a call, maybe? Or, as with differing brands, you may find a style/make that comes up small(er)..?

dunno tbh. but i had my bra on everytime mothercare measured me. i normally go there for the supportive bras in my size! regardless of whether i am pregnant or not

To be fair I don't think an old lady going bra-less to get measured would give you a good reading either, unless you were at knee level .

Your daughter sounds so small aww. Her mates though sound like they have had early development in the boob and height area . No wonder your father was walking around with his mouth open

Remember taking my Granddaughter aged 12 for a fitting for her first bra (her Mum was working) bought the one which fitted. but now 3 years later, going to buy bras she says it's just wrong looking for bras with your Grandma..

John Lewis, everywhere else is poor in comparison! Plus if you get measured at M&S, you will only ever fit M&S bras, as they measure differently to other brands.
