My daughter is 13 and a very weeny 13 at that. She wears clothes to fit age 9-10. Smiler

However, she does need a bra (why are they called training bras? What on earth can you train your jubblies to do? Big Grin). Trouble is most of the usual suspects seem to start first bras at 28AA. She's a 26 inch back.

We've looked at M&S, Asda, New Look, Primark, Tesco, Peacocks ...

Anyone know anyone who stocks smaller than a 28AA?

And she wants a "proper" bra I'm afraid. All her mates are wearing padded numbers already. Eeker

Ooo that's a thought. We have a brand spanking new John Lewis opening here in Cardiff on 24th September.

katty - I know the feeling. Looking for small bras is a completely new experience for me. Big Grin I think I was 13 when i had my first one but my mother was never very understanding when it came to getting me proper bras and by golly I needed them! So I'm determined daughter has the support (Razzer) she needs - just in case she ends up like me.

And yes ... measuring is a must.

Thanks guys. xx

I had to trial and error it, take them home, and ask her 'how it was all going!'

tell her she'll have to get measured if she doesn't want flopperly dopperlys Nod Wink

She's all grown up now and extremely pleased with her boobs (we caught her once a couple of years ago, sitting in the lounge with her head down her t-shirt saying to herself "they are perfect!" Big Grin )

She sleeps in her bra... she is so determined to preserve them! Laugh

Big Grin

Plain white for school - the slightest hint of a pattern under a polo shirt and the boys take the pee all day apparently. Having gone to an all girls school myself that was never a factor.

Thanks dk. Hug It looks very swish from the outside I have to say.

Bloody hell Cariad your daughter's mates are in padded bras at 12-13 years old Eeker. Thats shocking. Regarding your question I am not sure where you can get that specific bra. You could just go into different shops that sell bras and ask for that bra you want

She's less than 5 feet tall Roxi - the weeniest but one in her year - but most of her close mates are at least 5' 5" - one or two are already a good 5' 7" Eeker Complete jailbait.

My 73 year old father spent her birthday party walking around with his mouth open in shock.

This is true my daughter wears like a cami vest top over her bra so the lads can't see her bra through her polo shirt Roll Eyes and after 2 years of wearing a bra she still won't go and buy them herself Laugh

I took my daughter to M&S Cariad but am dubious about their sizing.

I asked my mum to buy my first bra (I too was 13) and she said, you can do it yourself (think she was embarrassedDisappointed). My mate came with me and off we went to Marks.

I was soooooooooo proud (and glad!!) in school that I wasn't wearing a vest anymore cos all the girls had been wearing a bra since first yr (yr 7 now). So every time my bra strap fell over my shoulder, I would say loudly to my mates..."Does your strap do that cos it's sooooooo annoying" Laugh

And I wanted my bra to be pinged by the boys....cos when I wore a vest I was shit scared they wouldn't find my strap!Red Face

Your daughter sounds so small aww. Her mates though sound like they have had early development in the boob and height area Eeker. No wonder your father was walking around with his mouth open
