Hiya
How do you currently access email. Do you use Windows Mail, Outlook Express, or is it web-based?

I wish I could help Diamond....am useless.
Good luck. I would have said set up a Hotmail/Gmail/Yahoo account and transfer that way.
Is your email address with your provider....ie *******@tiscali.com ?

Not a clue, so I'll give you a bump.
You won't lose your favourites list in your browser, but if you want to back them up and IE is your browser...from an IE window, follow File | Import and Export, and a Wizard takes you through the process.
I'm not the person to ask either BD ....
I know ... I know ... what the feck am I doing in the thread then ...??

If you want to save emails in Windows Mail, again, open the mail program, click File | Export, choose to save in Windows Mail format, and so on.
I did the email/favourites saving recently before I got a new PC, I saved all the exports onto a CD.

Here's a good link which explains how to back up emails in Outlook Express
It's been about 7 years since I changed ISP but as I recall, my existing OE emails received via the previous ISP were fine, didn't disappear. I'm with Virgin and any emails I delete via their web-based email don't download when I next use Windows Mail. I guess it's similar with Tiscali?
Btw, it's always useful to back up your browser faves (see my earlier post) in case your PC dies

Exactly the same process, just choose Messages
(see Post in Lounge)
Thanks everyone for your support I am off to bed and will return to this tomorrow with refreshed brain cells.
Good night.
Good night.
