Dear god

now the bread thing maybe if you beat your man with hard loaves from the freezer he wont come near ya,and therefore prevent anything happening

cling flim could be used to mummify yourself with 50 boxes of the stuff that would work.

Over a third thought that the greatest risk of getting pregnant while taking the combined contraceptive pill occurred in the middle of a pack, when in fact it is at the beginning and end.

This worries me more..so all the years they said it was 99% proof they were thick in maths....

I'd imagine bread acts as a barrier, and it does hark back to moss etc as a barrier method. Mind you, tis not so long ago we were relying on sheep's wool and oil to prevent conception. Laugh if you must but controlling fertility finally redressed the balance in women's favour.

Mini pill was worse..you had to take it exact same time everyday....
