40th anniversary of Woodstock. I can't believe it, makes me feel so old, but the music was fantastic.

I have been spotifying Janis today!
I watched the 20t anniv. of the Stone Roses last night and felt older than Methuselah...
Dunno much about Santana, I always liked screechy or jangly guitars the best...I did like that "smooth" song though.

TWENTY YEARS! And Ian Brown looks no different! He's got a painting in the attic, for sure.

Damn missed it
I went to a Santana concert in the 70's and got out of my head, on the sheer volumne of cannabis being smoked by the audience.
was a mint film. seen some of the footage before (hendrix) but not like that all in one go. the filmmakers sure liked perving at women i'll give em that LOL
weirdly it made me feel old and i wasn't even born then. i guess the further we get from the 20th century the more i will look back fondly at it, or summink...

On the subject of guitarists, did anyone notice that Les Paul had died last week aged 94.

Yes I did!!
I remember the first time I had one of those on. Substantially heavy and serious compared to my usual flimsy SG.
