they're all be wishing they are like her. Mine keeps wishing she had boobs (at 12yo). She's a stick figure who eats like a pig.

i stopped growing heightwise at about 13...i was tallest in the class till then lol

I was taller than my mum by the time I was 9 years old (but she's a tiny 4'11") - I was considered tall right up until I was 13.

Then I stopped at 5'6" - hardly a giraffe!

My son did the total opposite and ended up 6'6" but it took him 'til he was 22 to reach it.

PS...they're never to tall for a thick ear.

Blimey K! My lad was 11 in Feb (so there's only a few weeks between them)and he's about 4ft 2 and wears a size 1 shoe

One of my sons stopped growing at 17 and the other at 19 but my friends with daughters tell me that girls stop a little earlier. I've been the same height since I was 15.

all i can say is, she wanted him and now she's gotta reap what you sow

Height at age two, doubled, is what you can expect them to reach as an adult.

But also check their growth records - if they are consistently on or above the 90th centile for height, they are likely to be tall adults.

It felt so strange when I realised that my offspring were, one by one, growing taller than me!
My eldest is 6' in heels, Amazon girl, lol!

We are all diddy little midgets

Even Mr L is about 5ft 7 (at most)

i think this is true, my daughter has been the tallest among her friends (boys as well) since junior school, now the boys are catching her up i am the same height from about 15 as well

Stepladders come in handy - I can vouch for that.

As for playfights, yeah I used to get that too - and they thought it was hilarious.
I used to remind them that they had to sleep at some time (could they manage with one eye open though?).

I was 5'4" in '05 and I was 13 then and I've not grown a single inch since

Even my daughter (who's almost 15) is a bit smaller than me and I'm only 5' 2"
