If you're worried about the, ahem, side effects of taking iron tablets, I can recommend Prune Juice as a way of getting things moving along.

Also...thanks for the link in your first post...my best mate has been displying many of these symptoms for a while now...will urge her to go to docs even though I know I will have to sit on her while they do her blood tests!!!!

Get her to the doc, pronto. It can get pretty ugly if it isn't treated
