Has anyone bought stuff from them? I'm just about to buy a bikini but I'm not sure what size bottoms to get - and they dont appear to have a size guide I was wondering if they were true to size, or more generous - like Next or M&S. See if I was getting underwear from La Senza, I'd go for 12, but in M&S or Next a 10 is usually fine...

I never normally do threads like this, but I have no idea what to order I dont want to order a 10 and it to be the size of a postage stamp and not cover my bum
Yeah.. I do.
Best to go get fitted properly by them.. there are 3 Bra-V's in London (Covent Garden, Ealing, Oxford Circus).. the ones in Covent Garden and Ealing are less frantic than the one in Oxford Circus and so measuring and fitting is a bit less rushed.. Ealing is probably too far west though so it'd be the Covent Garden one that's probably best. All you do is give them a ring and make an appointment.

It still doesn't seem to say anything about the bottoms Tupps... I looked in the normal underwear bit, and the PJ bit too to try and see if it said anything Thing is, the bikini is in the sale (which is why I'm gonna get it, have you seen the price of them full price? ) so I dont think the shops would have them in - they dont usually

I popped in the size guide FAQs as well saz.. if you're an 8/10 then you'd be XS.. if you're a 10/12 then you'd be S.. if you're a 12/14 you'd be M. La Senza comes up small so I'd go mark it by the size you are in most shops (like M&S/Next etc).
I'm a size 10 most places and get the S... which is a large 10/small 12.
Thanks Tupps They do have those tie things at the side too... and they'll be stretchy material wont they, swimwear always is I'll go for 10, and blame you if it doesn't cover me bum

You'll be fine.. especially if they are tie up ones.. and with swimwear, best to be a teeny bit snug than baggy..
question is now.. are you an 8/10 or a 10/12..

This might be the threat to let you all know primark are now doing affordable bras in DD-G cups. They are even doing a sports bra for ÂĢ6!!!I'm a 34F and would normally pay up to ÂĢ30 for a sports bra so was over the moon to find their range. They start at 34 up to 40,so no good if you've a weeny back, but its gonna save me a small fortune!(not just black or white for a change!)

Same here
I can't buy bras from there, the most depressing thing ever
Have you tried La Senza Pip? They're usually reasonably priced, and do a good size range. They're my fave atm Oh, their sales are dead good, massive discounts
I'm a La Senza/ Freya woman Saz But Primark bras are nuff cheap, I wish i had a broader back!
we should campaign to get them to do smaller back sizes Pip
I can't believe you think you are fat and you can wear a bikini
My bikini days are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind me.
(I'd just like to point out I know that Saz hasn't said anything about fat in this thread , but she used to forever gripe about herself. Just incase you think I'm a looper )
I dunno if I can really Arwen... you never know, I could get onto the beach and Greenpeace might try to chuck me back into the sea
Don't know if this will add to your predicament or not Saz, but have you looked at figleaves for swimwear?
