And Ann Widdecombe (I can't quite vizualize her doing a rumba.)
Fairfax. Yes I believe Felicity Kandall is going to do it.
I'm impressed that she is 63. She always looks the same age to me, and yet she's been around for ever.
edit: Yes Baz, and the lovely Brisket
Thanks Brisket..I think she's lovely, even at 63.
As suzy has said you delve into extra information from strange places too.
Thanks for nice words Baz and suzy
Please do it darlo.....

Well done, Brisket.. I was just coming in here to chide Darlo for slipping on his gossip reporting! She's the only blot on the Strictly horizon for me. LOVE the show though - but I hope it's rubbish about Nicole Sherzinger - she's already won Dancing with the Stars and, to be honest, I stopped watching because her obvious dance training made a mockery of the whole show. I do hope Anne Widdicombe is in it... that's Anton's partner sorted!
As for that Alesha story I do know that she does like to party so maybe perhaps she had a little bit too much to drink, perhaps someone said something or there was just a big dispute that got out of hand..
I do hope that this year people don't keep whinging on about Alesha and focus on the dancing more as it became too much of a distraction.
Having Sky+ this year will mean I can fast forward through the waffle of the usual suspects
which will be lovely!
I just hope that the thread is as pleasant and fun to be on as last years, we all disagreed at times, but there was little or no nastiness and a lot of laughs ~ and not just at the dancers!
The BBC are not going to run their messageboards (forum) this year.

Looking forward to seeing the new dancers.
18.25-19.25 is what time SCD Launch will be aired on the 11th September..It avoids The X Factor, which airs between 19.45-21.00.
Bruce Forsyth and Daly will remain as the presenters of the main Saturday night shows, while Winkleman will replace the veteran host for the elimination episode. The new results shows will not feature a dance-off, but instead include pro-dance performances and the all-important elimination.
Winkleman, who presented the main show with Daly and Ronnie Corbett when Forsyth was sick last year, will also return to host It Takes Two.
BBC controller of entertainment commissioning Mark Linsey said: "Strictly pioneered the Sunday night results format and this year we're back with the perfect finish to the weekend.
"Tess and Claudia were the obvious choices to present and we're really proud that a fresh Strictly will return with must-see, family event television."
The Strictly Come Dancing red carpet launch show airs at 6.25pm on September 11, when all the celebrities will be introduced to their professional partners for the first time.
Three weeks later, all the competitors will perform on shows split over the weekend from October 1. No couple will be eliminated in the first week, as all the points will be carried forward to the following Saturday's show, allowing the audience two weeks to decide their favourite couples.
Winkleman said: "I'm properly excited about working alongside Tess on the Sunday results show. I'll be fully immersed in all things tango and sequin as I'm still hosting It Takes Two weeknights on BBC Two, too. They've just told me the lineup. One word. Excited."
Interested that the new results show will not feature a dance off.
I also think it is a good idea to have no eliminations in the first week, and to carry all the points forward.
So glad Claudia is doing the Sunday show, she is brill.

I've no idea how accurate it is.
(And I'm sorry darlo because I know you like Alesha.)
However there is a response to it here:
