I absolutely love it when it pours down with rain in the summer, I always go out to play in it.

Note from a pedant.
There is no such thing as "pear cider".
Cider, by definition, is an alcoholic drink made from apples - and no other fruit.
The stuff they call pear cider is, in fact, perry.
According to that it's only moderate to slight here. How about they come and stand outside my front door. Wonder how moderate they'll think it is then?quote:Originally posted by Zaphod:

I always look at metcheck for my weather reports.

Absolutely chucking it down here for the last hour and a half, with thunder and lightning! My daughter rang from Ryton (Newcastle outskirts) and was still sitting in her garden I told her it was heading her way

It's all sitting over my house Peps, tell her to stay outside until she feels the rain! It's lovely and warm still.

A pint of vodka and red bull would be lovely. I'm just gonna settle down to watch the 2nd part of Wuthering Heights with a plate of party food
