Who knows what your parents might have avoided, Ditty.....let's not go there!
All I know is that I was reading your posts about your OH over the weekeend. These must have lingered in my subconscious. And this morning I CLEARLY remember thinking "Ditty's definitely gonna post some good news about her OH some time this week".
Anyway, enough spooky stuff. I'm delighted for you and your family!

Ahh, a nice bottle of champers or decent wine and a good take away is every bit as good as going out anyway! Go on and treat yourselves, you all deserve it. I know it hasn't been much fun over the last few months for either of you so I genuinely couldn't be more pleased. Sounds like a great job too. It'll be lovely working outside with the dog and not having to meet targets all the time.
PS Things are looking good on the Louis front too.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Ditty. That must be a great weight off your minds
Few more thank you's (I was hopeless at my xmas thank you letters as a child... but today I am determined! )

Menty (you're not wrong... we have been skirting around 'the scary place' for a month or so.... so its a big phew... financially, emotionally & all round generally. I don't even mind the pile of forms & paperwork I have now got to sort out... changing from jobseekers to family tax credits! )
Thank you xxxx

Ta Cags,
I hope he enjoys it too! Once the economy picks up, the world of recruitment will spring back to life.. and he will be able to choose whether or not to go back to it.
Congrats Mr.Ditty.
Does this mean you'll have the house to yourself Ditts?

Awwww Ditty! That's just the best news! Congratulations to your hubby. It must feel like such a relief.
My sister was made redundant 2 months before christmas last year. Even though I wasn't directly effected the stress was HUGE. So I can only imagine what you've all been through.
Luckily my sis is a family lawyer so finding a job wasn't as hard as she feared. (people still divorce and use their kids as weapons in a recession ) She was back in work by January.
I'll join you in smiling all day if thats ok?
