On a different note, Great Britain won their doubles match in the tennis Davis Cup against Turkey. This means that they have avoided being relegated to the lowest tier of the Davis Cup. Great Britain were without Andy Murray and Alex Bogdanovic (Great Britain's number 2) who had withdrawn to concentrate on their own careers. In Bogdanovic's case he is currently ranked 166 and needs to get into the top 100 to secure LTA funding which had been cut for him. (Edited to correct my mistake by putting England instead of Britain and my sincere apologies to everyone for the offence that I have unwittingly caused).
