We have a new MP, some little Tory Oik. I've left 3 messages on his constituency phone and emailed him through the 'they work for us' website to ask about his surgery arrangements. So far nada
 Mind you the last Labour one we had, Dismal Andrew Dismore, was rubbish.
I made sure everyone knew how pants he was - he lost by about 100 votes

My local MP was at my sons leaving assembly at his primary s hool the other night...

I saw Dismal Dismore hanging around outside Colindale station last week - not sure what he's doing now he's not an MP. He was a mega bucks solicitor before he was an MP so I thought he'd go back to that.
Were the kids at your sons school wondering wtf the MP was?

I don't live in her area but she has always come across to me as a pretty decent politician. Surprised me to see her with such a small winning majority.

Regularly speaks in debates, attends lots of votes and didn't appear to abuse her expenses.

Well they changed the constituency boundaries before the last election, SB. I think they took out a sizable wodge of Labour voters.
