I don't think Preston wants to rekindle their romance.  I think he is trying to be kind and supportive but without giving her any false hope.

I agree - she's already said the thing she'll miss most after UBB is Preston. She's going to be a real mess after this ends, poor cahh..

If it does work out for the both of them, then I guess it would have been worth it.  If it doesn't, then she will probably be worse this time round then she was the last time

He's going to leg it as soon as UBB ends. She was asking him what he would be doing at the weekend, and if he wanted to come round to see their dogs... he was really quick to say he'd be busy with his family, etc.
It's painfully obvious that she is still in love with him, but it's not mutual.

Really?  I didn't see that bit.  I guess he is doing the right thing because it would only get her hopes up if he were to say yes he would come round.  Better to let her down gently and quickly, imo.

I agree, i think he was trying to say on last nights H/L show what he thought but ulrika kept interupting, he was saying something along the lines of. you get with someone and then down the line you realise you have nothing in common, which i would say is probably why they split in the first place

Apparently, Preston's mother has said that they had nothing in common then and nothing in common now.

He`s said he likes the punky weird intellectual type. Chantelle`s a lovely girl but she`s certainly not that.

Apart from she loves him, and he loves him too.

Me too LL. You never know, but I don`t think it`s going to happen. Preston has completely different interests from Chantelle. Ok, sometimes that works but I feel Preston (from what he`s said) wants someone who shares them with him. They love each other but I don`t think he`s "in love" with her anymore.  
I feel sorry for Chantelle.

I agree Scotty.  He obviously does love her but I don't think he is in love with her.

Whichever way he tells her, she is going to be hurt.  So the sooner it is done, the better I feel.
