My sister saw them in Glasgow she loves them,took along her niece who enjoyed it too.

They mentioned the Glasgow gig last night. I saw a lot of younger people in the crowd, probably the next generation of fans!

That does sound like fun! I saw a good documentary on Heaven 17 a while ago, might have been one of those 'Classic Albums' programmes as it concentrated on Penthouse to Pavement and it's critique of the yuppie lifestyle that was emerging in the 80s. Irony being that it was almost cherished and adopted by a bunch of filofax waving noveau riche.

I went to see Duran Duran in concert last year at the o2 on a girly night and I was quite shocked at how much I enjoyed it, how catchy the tunes were and how many of the lyrics I knew considering I wasn't much of a fan as an 80s teen. I wouldn't mind going to see Heaven 17 now so will look out for their next round of gigs and organise another evening of back combing, shoulder pads and plastic jewellery with my friends

They recently toured Penthouse and Pavement as it was the 30th anniversary, so that may have been what you saw. It's interesting how they have drawn parallels between now and then in a political sense.

I always liked Duran Duran from Planet Earth album! they have a good catalogue of songs. I've seen them once live.

That'd be fab EC. Cheers  Duran do have a good catalogue, some of their later stuff is great as well, 'Come undone' sounded amazing live. I used to love ABC as well, wore down my cassette of Lexicon of Love at the time.

ABC are another band I have seen a couple of times over the last few years. Lexicon of Love is a great album, but I also like a couple of the other albums too notably How To Be A Zillionaire.

If so, that's great. SOS is good, is Satori on there, a song I play a lot.

It did sound like I'd just rushed out to impulse buy it  Nah, got it a few years ago and it's in my pile of CDs I pull out when I do any kind of housework, I get to have a sing-a-long which makes it seem less arduous.

Satori's not on it, don't think I've ever heard it.

Heaven 17 played Temptation twice Saturday. The album version and the club version as an encore. 

I have never seen a band perform the same song twice (different versions) at a gig before, but yes really enjoyed it. All the crowd sang, giving Glenn G a rest - lol

I will be seeing The Human League at the Sheffield City Hall on December 4th.
