I agree Velvet âĶ.banks and post offices are a lifeline for many elderly people ! Iâm pretty internet savvy , but lots of people still arenât âĶ and itâs not like the banking sector are hard up !
Said the same Velvy - Post Office has stopped accepting benefits payments, now it's direct to bank but if your bank is nowhere near how do you get your ÂĢÂĢÂĢ? Going to the local to withdraw was part of some people's routine kept or years and now to 'cut costs' people are being ostracised in their own community - they don't think about that

Exactly RentonâĶ.and in some cases , those trips to the post office , or bank , were the only times people got to see/speak to another human being !
