Deman, if you're feeling crap you've no need to make yourself feel guilty over it. Have a blub and stick on your fave DVD or you could just wait till 9o'clock for spooks to start
Yes! Toid watch Spooky wooks! It's bound to cheer you up!

Aww Deman. Sounds like a bit of self pity is entirely in order. I think you're coping brilliantly with what must be a desperately depressing illness. You're always kind, funny and thoughtful and you never fail to cheer me up. Have a good blub and a big helping of something very bad for you and you'll feel better before you know it.

you're right deman...lets not fall out over it
Queenie...how's the little one? How old is she now?

Queenie.... keep meaning to ask you... am I imagining it or did you tell me, way back when you first got preggers, that you had M.E., ..... if I am not going round the bend.... I was wondering how you were feeling now?

I have to say, your ladygarden-pruning thread was one of the funniest of I've ever read - Queen of the High Knees!

I cherish the image of Queenie waddling around the house... looking for scissors... with half of Dixon's hanging from her bits!

It's natural for your condition to make you feel bad Toid. One of the symptons of anemia is depression - something to do with neural pathways or summat.
So not only do you feel depressed because your illness is causing changes to your brain chemistry ( I think) but because you feel like crap it makes you feel more crap
I'm not sure if that makes sense but I know what I mean lol. Snap all you like, you have earned a snapping session as you are always funny and supportive usually.
Just take it out on the hubby when he gets back - they have to be useful for summat occasionally
I'll leave a hug for Maggie too after tonights result
Sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly and down Dermantoid. Hope you feel a little better soon.
demantoid, here's a hug. Hope you feel better soon xx
Deman, Ditty, Temps.
Funnily enough, I had to make another attempt at a 'tidy up' yesterday for the doctor. I stuck to Veet and a razor this time around. It was still lopsided but at least I didn't look like I'd been using barbed wire for loo paper this time.
Hetty is nine weeks old today. She's doing brilliantly, had her first jabs on Monday and is now 10lb 7oz.
I do have ME Ditty. It was ok for the first few weeks but has made a bit of a comeback in the last couple. It's manageable and thankfully she's a good baby but I'm disappointed that it didn't disappear for good which apparently can happen for some women.
Sorry to hijack your thread Deman.

Aw Queenie.... I thought it might have gone too...
it will one day you know... my cousin had it properly for 12 years... and then it took another five years for him to be properly back on form.
He's good now though.
I'm sorry you're still suffering it

Thanks Ditty. I've had it for nearly 11 years now. I can usually manage it ok, though obviously things are a bit different now I have Hetty to consider too. Fingers crossed I'll eventually get better though.
I remember you being worried about how you would cope Queenie... but.. you are coping... and I totally believe you will cope.... and even more impressive... you coped with the pregnancy Queenie.... to the extent of still keeping your undercarraige in reasonable nick!

Oh I'm not sure it could be described as reasonable, but definitely nicked. Quite a few nicks actually. Add Reply
