Nah i totally think you are right now, they are making it out to be everyone else but Zak and he has steered clear of Kain since it happened. Why would Kain not want the real person done for it unless it was his dad, or someone else really close to him?

Plus he did humiliate Zak when he punched him one and sneered at him that he was an old man who was past it

Thats where i got the clue from  Zak went too the garage to have a go at Cain about the baby and Cain throw a spanner at Zaks head, Cain was hit with a spanner
