I thought it started at 9? So why is there some bloke singing on a grassy hill already?

that grassy hill is the backdrop Ducky

I quite like it. Very English.

That's what they're hoping for by all accounts. They nearly had it there when the rain started

tsk.

I would be very interested to see how many people in this country who have got so excited about the Olympics, continue to support minority sports after the event is over.

We should see athletics events Sheffield, Birmingham and Crystal Palace sold out now should we not. But we won't, things will go back to normal with the aforementioned events getting probably the same attendances. Because most people are interested in the glitzy Olympics (glory hunters in football parlance).

I won't accept being criticised for having no interest in the Olympics, just like I won't criticise anyone for not liking Formula 1 or Football or glitch or dark ambient. It's all about personal choice. I have had this conversation on many occasions at work, it's not compulsory to like the Olympics and it's not as some would have you think being grouchy either. I hope the GB team win loads of medals and are successful, I'm just not interested in sitting in front of the box watching.

In fact I am taking the opportunity to go to the gym when it's empty.

That's it EL. Everyone to their own. Some it suits, some it doesn't. I love F1 and Moto GP but I know not everyone else does so I don't castigate them for that

tssssssssssssssssss *cough* ssssssssk!

Yep, not really on your wavelength pal. Really don't understand your comment - just a bunch of consonants to me, so I'm dipping out of this thread now before we start exchanging unpleasantries.

just a light hearted response. No need to take it to heart. Each to their own as you say.
