The 2014 Winter Olympics, officially the XXII Olympic Winter Games, or the 22nd Winter Olympics, is scheduled to take place from the 7th to the 23rd of February 2014, in Sochi,Russia, with some events held in the resort town of Krasnaya Polyana. Ninety-eight events in fifteen winter sports will be held. Both the Olympic and Paralympic Games are being organized by the Sochi Organizing Committee (SOOC).

Brits aren't doing too well in the diving, so far.

 

After 2 rounds, Tom is in 15th place and Pete is in 31st place - out of 32!

Well done to our women's 400 meters relay getting to the final , shame about men's 100 relay ... Sophie Hitchons going ok in the hammer final .... And good luck to Pavey and Bleasdale in the 5000m final .

Pete's not dived well Rexi. These are the pre lims to get them into the finals but not good. Tom's 1n 15th and only the top 18 go through. two rounds to go after this one
