We've been saying tonight how lovely all of the GB contestants have come across in their interviews: thrilled at their achievements, grateful for all of those who have helped them get there, and always showing humility. Makes a refreshing change from the celebrity culture that appears to have developed over recent years.

It has far and away exceeded my expectations. I'm very proud to be British ...............and proud too to be a Londoner. I never thought they could pull it off so stylishly but - I should have had more faith.
