Can anyone explain in very simple terms how these races work?  Mr Cinds and I are watching like this  apart from when we childishly giggle every time the commentator mentions Coquard

Lol... They are all different Cinds These are the sprint quarter finals ... The one before , the Omnium is sort of like the heptathlon , i.e. 6 different events over two days , based on points ... But in this case it seems to be the person with the least points that wins . So, first place will get you 1 point etc. etc. ..... At least I think that's how it works
