We may be 3rd on the official medal table...... but if you look at medals compared to population (of the top 3 )....we are NUMBER ONE!
Go GB!
What a fantastic evening, i've been out for a charity barbeque with a whole load of people who i haven't seen for over ten years. The big screen was on and the cheers were fantastic.

Awwww..... just read back. You've had a ball in here tonight. I'm sorry I missed it!
I've been at my sisters house tonight though....my sis, niece, me and my son watched GB get their 3 gold medals...... I think we may have bothered the neighbours with our screaming for Mo. It was just so exciting!
(Seee Baz and Yogi....I'm NOT a jinx. )

YAY, the curse is broken.
Rexi, that sounds like a great evening.
Is anyone watching BBC1 at the moment? They have shown a behind the scenes clip of the commentary team during the final stages of Mo's race - and they were going ballistic, jumping and screaming for Mo. It was brilliant.
No Yogi, haven't got the TV on yrt. Just switched on and there's cycling on BBC3. It's another bit of the Omnium.
Wee snippet from Olympic News pages:-
As she completed a lap of honour after winning Olympic gold, cyclist Joanna Rowsell pulled off her helmet to proudly reveal her bald head.
Having lived with the hair loss condition alopecia since childhood, the 23-year-old, from Cheam in Surrey, has not flinched from speaking about her condition.
Indeed she says her hair loss has helped drive her on to greatness.
Mornin all
We all ready to go again?

Yeah, I heard that the other day Fluffs. I watched a documentary on her the other week that was really interesting. I got out of it that she always seems to be looking for recognition
Look no further Vicki dear, you have it
Basketball on the red button - if anyone's interested.

Looking forward to the tennis this afternoon
