has happened to our chocolate bars?!  They are shrinking by the day!  One at a time!  I thought I was imagining it some weeks back when Cadburys Dairy Milk seemed smaller, but then a week ago, I opened a pack of chunky kitkats and had one, and it was at LEAST 20% smaller than they used to be, and now tonight, I just opened a toffee crisp (havent had one for about 5 or 6 months,) and it is at least a THIRD smaller than the last time I had one!  PLUS, the tins of choccies have about a tenth less chocolate in now.  But shocker!!! the PRICE is the same.

This is getting right on my tits now.    What's the idea?  Are the choccy companies going to come up with some garbage like they're 'trying to make us lose weight?'  Coz if THAT is true, then however much less is in the tin or bar, charge that much LESS for the blasted things.  Another thing is, that after one stupid little miniature toffee crisp which has lost over 30% of it's size, I don't feel satisfied, I just feel pissed off, so I get another one!  So much for trying to help us lose weight!  It's having the opposite effect.

Anyone else noticed this?!!

They shrink the size of the choccie bar but keep the price the same.

they're actually doing it with a lot of food stuffs. I remember not to long back I noticed it with the peanut butter jar & crisp packets too. Bad very bad

Watchdog highlighted the problem this week, there are a lot of companies pulling this stunt.

it's because, like everything else, the raw ingredients are getting more expensive.   The choice is put the price up, or make the things smaller.    Add to the fact that retailers are getting more and more greedy and screw suppliers for better and better prices, manufacturers  have to make some money somewhere.

Guess what side I'm on
