Do you go mad withe the booze list at Xmas or is it just a case of getting what you think is enough? I myself prefer to be a bit indulgent and get more than is needed, just in case the odd rellie turns up with their friends. Costs me a fortune but hey-better to be prepared and regared amongst family as Santa rather than Scrooge. My blll will be about ÂĢ 300 Includes stuff that i will never drink myself. but know others like it.

hoochie .......... you kidding ?
I have a few gallons of wine...and some bucks fizz 4% stuff for daughter - oh and 3 or 4 bottles of the fizzy stuff pour moi and a bottle of port my mother bought for me and my brother (he and his OH have a separate bottle obviously   out of the loose change she collected when sorting though my late grandfather's things last week to raise a glass to him next Saturday.
I've never been a drinker as such, more the social participant (and I've done a lot of socials in my time )
The family are teetotal, have been since birth and as alcohol has been off my remit for well over a year it will be soft drinks a plenty in my gaff this Crimbo. I ain't fussed though, it doesn't bother me.

I really only drink wine. At Christmas however I do like to have a bottle of Ginger wine in the house so will be getting that.
I am also a sherry drinker - yes I know it isn't trendy but a glass of chilled sherry while cooking Christmas lunch is a must in my house.
Champagne with Xmas lunch and then the usual beers for OH. I have also got some Crabbes Ginger beer cos that is the nicest thing ever.
We don't drink spirits and do you know I have never tasted vodka in my life
