Just go and give it a go.
If, like me, you need a map, rather than Satnav (i.e. thread links) ... this is what I posted earlier.
Once you are SIGNED in, ( not trying to register) as you are already a member, and you've done the easy formalities... just try this map to see lots of folk you know. This is just a meeting place until gaga gets its own room, OK? THE SINKING SHIP. Go to the bar on that page. It's a bar! Folk there will help you out to find out how to do stuff.

On the black bar at the top of the home page, click on 'Explore'
In the drop down menu, click on 'Groups'
The Sinking Ship is at the top of this page... click on it and say hello in 'THE BAR' (Forum Topics) on this page. Someone in there will help or at least get you a drink!"

Seriously, I thought about not bothering myself but its not that hard really. I do still get lost and still can't find places I've been to, but I'm sure I will get there eventually (fingers crossed). So come on, give it go. It would be a shame to lose people.

No I have just tried it. Its took me ages just to set the time and its still wrong

No I have just tried it. Its took me ages just to set the time and its still wrong

I had a problem with that, but I was told to make it GMT + 1 and now the time is correct for me.

I do like the fact that once you join it you can find it easy in your ticker alerts. It took me a while to realise it though

I still have trouble finding my way around, but I don't care if I post in the wrong place and make a fool of myself

I'm not going to be the only one doing that: I hope.

I saved the link I posted and use that to open LC and I'm straight to the *Forum* bit. I know that it is only temporary until they migrate GaGa Forums there, but for the time being, it serves it's purpose.

I'm over there but I can't see the new topic button. There's advice about disabling Firefox plugins to locate a possible conflict but I seriously don't want to, I have A LOT of plugins and it could take an age to find the conflicting one.

I am not looking forward to the move, as I am a creature of habit, but I am going to give it a try. I am registered on DS ... and have used it in times of emergency (when C4 closed for hols or at midnight), but can't say I like it much.... I also don't like sites run by private individuals, so LC here I come
