Perhaps we all gain out of this but if the costs of running it outweign the gains then we're history (or should that be HIStory ).

The mods are just moderators, keeping the place running efficiently, not forum parents putting plasters on an individual's wounds and kissing them better, or arbitrating between the details of inter-personal disputes.

I think we should treat them as Greek gods, sort of unknowable and a little random in their judgements and actions. 'Sides, Greek gods are usually quite hot so I quite like thinking about them.

I don't know about shouldn't be posting it, and I may be a million miles off track here, but I reckon they must get some sort of commission on the ads on this site .. although where their main funding comes from I'm not sure

I don't think they do it for nothing, I think it was nice that they rushed the opening of this forum for us cause if we had to wait until July like says on the first page we would have scattered to the four corners and i like the Fms here, even when it all kicks off.

I like have a laugh with the mods and some of their posts make me laugh but they are doing a job i believe they get paid for. Same at my work i sometime have a laugh with people who phone me and e-mail me but ultimately i am there to work, and if i just have a laugh with them and forget to try and sell them courses or book them on courses they shouldn't be on constantly then it is game over.

Well, suppose they'll get a fair bit of revenue for the ads, (clever how they pick up key words to relate to what we're chatting about) and maybe use this as a showcase to sell their product more widely.
