How are we not talking about this?  I'm following the story and am amazed at how these girls have been kept hidden for 10 whole years and no-one find them  It's such a sad story and leaves you wondering how many more cases of this kind of long term abduction there are out there.

No reports yet as to where the babies that were born to the women have gone but the papers seem to be hinting at possible burials in the back garden of the house.

I hope the reports from the neighbours about them contacting police saying they have seen 3 women, naked, being led around the back yard on leashes aren't true because if it then the police have some big questions to answer.

Some neighbours are saying they have called police a few times about the goings on at the house but that their calls were never followed through with or that police left after not getting an answer.

the police just stood there like static blancmanges    I guess she wanted to go home but perhaps the authorities should move the family to a place of safety to get reacquainted

Yes, they will get no peace for weeks!  They should have been taken into hiding until she readjusts and THEN maybe she could talk to the press.

hopefully someone will see sense and move them all - I gather she's the one with the child that's survived so common sense would say this is going to be very emotional for the child to meet new family and then find out the circumstances of her birth - doesn't bear thinking about

it's shambolic YR and could damage all concerned if it's not stopped

I agree Pengy. Psycologically and emotionally they must be all over the place. They need help and advice from someone who's been trained to help others that have been held against their will for a long period of time.

Oh god, it doesn't bear thinking about what they have been through.

Plus they are looking for the bodies of at least 5 babies.

The whole thing just beggars belief.

Lol.

not sure what that means. I was thinking of other families over the years who've had loved ones go missing. Until they're told their body has been found they cling on to hope that one day they'll return.

That would be a terrible limbo to be in  Waiting for years in the hope that a miracle would happen.

It must be a living nightmare to not have closure with constant questions of where and who's responsible. Very occasionally like recently there is a happier ending for some than many others.
