Big Brother 2015: Simon Gross has officially asked to leave the house

Big Brother

Simon Gross has officially requested to leave the Big Brother house tonight (Thursday).

The move follows another huge row that left Chloe Wilburn in tears and saw Simon once again battling the other housemates.

He called a ‘house meeting’ shortly afterwards and told the group: “I feel like I’ve made mistakes since I’ve been here. I’ve tried to rectify them but I feel very lonely and I feel alienated. I don’t think it’s fair to single out people.”

Simon’s comments resulted in the housemates encouraging him to leave, with Joel telling him: “I feel like saying go and we’ll have someone back who wants to be here.”

Speaking to Eileen later in the sky room and Simon confessed: “I don’t need it, I think I’ve realised that now.

“I don’t need to be here, I don’t need this. Maybe if I did go tonight you could stay. I’ve had enough, I’m emotionally drained.”

Simon then went to the Diary Room to request to leave.

“I’m really sorry but I want to leave,” he told Big Brother. “I feel a wreck, emotionally drained, I’ve done six days, I’m pleased.

“I don’t need to be on this experience, I’ve got other things, I have done what I wanted to do.”

As of 23:51 and Simon currently remains in the house.

Rylan said he'd just been told that Simon wanted to leave, we saw a clip of him in the DR saying what's quoted above. Towards the end of the show Rylan said Simon was still there.

he needs help, that "crying" is the same as a toddler when its trying to get attention/its own way

and sorry eileen but pandering to him won't help, stick him on the naughty step, preferably one that's a long way away and not on our telly boxes

Exactly right. Anyone remember ChanHell behaving like that too?  And Eilleen pandering to him won't help - naughty step would be just the ticket!

Big Brother: Performers weren't happy Simon Gross was in the house and took to Twitter to complain with #AbusedBySimonGross

Performers from all walks of life took to Twitter to complain about his past professional behaviour

That's showbiz!

Simon Gross was the first housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house and, as they say, karma can come right back to bite you in the jazz hands.

Performers from all walks of life took to Twitter to complain about his presence in the house as they claim he had a history of not paying professionals for their work.

Not only did the ex-housemate withhold from paying, he has also been accused of verbally abusing his staff.

The hashtag took off on Twitter back in February, but gained popularity when news spread that Simon would be entering the Big Brother house.

Twitter user Candice Conway wrote "How can @bbuk condone a bully to enter the house? A man who owes people money and has treated people so disgracefully #abusedbysimongross"

And James Foster added "In desperation for fame, not only has Simon Gross been humiliated but he's let more ppl discover what he's really about! #AbusedBySimonGross"

Simon's solicitor contacted Vanity von Glow and others, asking them to "remove any tweets containing this hashtag and to undertake not to participate any further in this tortious conspiracy to injure our client's lawful and economic interests."

Vanity took to Twitter last night to post her reaction to Simon being booted from the show.

Simon spoke to reporters this morning about the hashtag saying, "Basically, I mean I'm laughing because this happened in 2002. I put on a production in Central London and the show didn't work. The reason it didn't work is because July was a really hot month, it was underground in a venue in the Charring Cross area, and people just didn't come and see the show. I put all my money into the venue.

He added "The venue wanted me to guarantee it, I guaranteed it, and because the show didn't do anything I had to declare myself bankrupt. Which for somebody - I'm 46 now we're talking 2002, can't remember what age I was - but it was very, very, very hard. I had to go and declare myself bankrupt and people won't leave me alone about it.

"They just keep going on and on and on about it and just won't let me move on. I would apologise for anything if I had to, but at the end of the day I went bankrupt because I put on a production and it just didn't work, and it just seems that people won't let me move on. Big Brother was the next chapter of my life to try and move on and try and put the past behind me."

Simon was evicted after less than two hours on the show, could this be karma?

Well that's very interesting.

It's quite clear that Simon feels entitled to just dump and run - sod the others, those also-rans; who cares about their 'economic interests'?
It's all about Meeeeeeeeee.
And it's the fault of the nasty public and the outrageous UK weather.

Poor Simon.
