It should have let you into your planner?

You can record two channels at the same time and watch a pre-recorded programme.

You can record both at once, but you have to be watching one of them...or something else you've recorder (planner) or Anytime.

I hope this info was helpful, you shall now be charged the sum of ÂĢ500, to be paid by midnight.

Thank you for using Rawky-Roo Services and we hope you have an 'all right' day.

Rawky-Roo

I love it!!!

The only thing that worries me is that I've become so used to rewinding if I miss something - a punchline for example - it's begun to carry over into other things. The other day I missed a remark on Radio 4 and was reaching to rewind when I remembered my radio didn't have Sky+.

This week it happened when I didn't quite catch what someone said to me at the office. Doh! Your life isn't on Sky+ cariad.

I did worse than that.

Someone walked past outside the house the other week and I didn't catch who it was so I picked up the Sky remote........

OMG! That's even worse than Cariad!

Do those DAB radios have the capability to record and replay I wonder?

I have only 10% space  left on my SKY+ that's nearly four weeks of shows that I  Iike CSI's,criminal minds etc.Bleedin' "neighbours" for my niece,Oh and my daffy "Ghosthunters" shows from "living." I've watched them,my niece has to catch up,as she moved out in Jan to live with her fiance. They have had a pain in the ass time. She went with BT  on demand /hub etc.The flat they have rented didn't have a good reception..38%.Pain in the arse, she ended up having to pay for roof aeriel herself  65 quid.

I don't pay for mine my niece does, because she wants to see her shows later after work etc.It woulndn't bother me if I went back to Freeview, most of the shows that I like are on CH5 etc.I only have a very basic package, three selections...I think it's ÂĢ22.00 a month she pays.I know the full package for films, sports etc is nearly ÂĢ60.00 a month

Oooo get you!

We've had Sky for years - before even Freeview existed. Simply because our terrestrial channel signals were so bad. It was BBC2 Wales and S4C only.

Were it just me I'd probably have Freeview but I now have teenagers who cannot live without The Simpsons and Lie To Me. We don't do the Sports and Movie packages. And I have broadband and phone with Sky too.

Oh get me, indeed!

My Freeview reception goes to pot when the trees get all leafy (May to Oct), but I don't care, because I can always post my ill-informed opinions on the Internet instead, or use iPlayer etc

Can't live without The Simpsons? It's on C4 every day, almost as often as Friends!

We changed to Virgin and they let you record two programmes and watch a third!

Can do something similar with Freeview, record two programs and watch a third as long as it's on a channel broadcast on the same multiplex as either channel you're currently recording.

I've got built in Freeview on my bedroom tele but I suppose you need the box to be able to do that?

Yep, but don't you need to pay a premium to get the Sky+ box to Sky+?  A Freeview PVR is essentially pretty much the same as Sky+, programs are recorded to an internal hard disk over a twin tuner.

Had my Humax Freeview PVR for around five years and it's one of the best bits of electronic kit I've ever bought.  Also used a DVD recorder, but I've had two of those, and both had never come close to the ease and reliability of the PVR, DVD recordings often fail in my experience.

I remember that, but I thought it was her tights, it's so long ago now I'm probably wrong and confusing it with the joke about 'how to make a womans toes curl'

Ohhhh, you could be right - I may have to google ...

I don't know that joke - do tell

Personal Video Recorder

Basically a Freeview or Freesat decoder with an internal hard drive to record onto rather than tapes or discs.
