My daughter has V+ and she said it was good fun

Our Sky+ is fcuked at the moment - can only watch one channel at a time and the engineer cant come out til Friday

Normal Sky box upstairs is fine though.

I remember when we got Sky+ installed and I didn't let the engineer leave until he had hooked up my video recorder - even though he repeated several times that I wouldn't need it.

I even made him wait til I put a tape in to check that it was working.

I have to stress that was a good few years ago

only thing I haven't worked out how to do is the sky mobile thingy where you're supposed to be able to set a programme to record remotely from your mobile phone - I've tried and tried and it won't work

OMG!!!!!!! This is too clever for words

Pengy you have to register on the Sky site for that and you have to have your box switched on when you're out.

That sounds like I'm stating the obvious but I tried to use my phone to record when we were out and I had unplugged the box....
