Well, look at it this way ... do you want a week and a half off work and some peace and quiet?
Ewwww I hope you used a clean tissue and binned it immediately.

hmmm exams this week - do you think this is a good enough excuse??
It all depends, have you been in close proximity to a pig recently?

Phone the BBC - they'll have you as top story on the news before you know it.
Maybe you should wait till Monday to have these symptoms.

LOL. Did you read the story of that bloke who was saying how 'orrible his flu was and how he thought he was going to die? At the bottom of the story, they had the health person on saying that luckily his symptoms appear to be just that of a mild cold.

I saw him on the news saying he'd been pretty rough... I've only had (non swine) flu once in my life and I could hardly stand for the first week... never mind be dressed and standing chatting on the phone for the telly cameras!

Quite seriously, I've actually stopped watching the news for the first time ever. It was bad enough over the Northern Rock fiasco, but this is just ridiculous
No.I have a stinking head cold, one watery eye ,one snotty nostril a bit of a sore throat etc.Much use of tissues and spluttering/sneezing.That is all. That's my nose blowing there by the way.

You go to bed, drink plenty of fluids and you will be fine in no time. Unless you're a man, then you probably have man flu.

Yes. Much worse.
And don't forget you'll need a bell.

Is that for man flu? So that you can ring for a new lemsip. Or to change the TV channel to Match Of The Day?

Tuesday, really. Why waste a perfectly good Bank Holiday Monday?

Yes, yes it is. I won't lie to you, it's awful. You will sniff and look for sympathy. You will blow your nose, and nothing. You will cough and cough, and nothing. The good news is that it is not fatal. The bad news is that your other half will make you wish that it was.
