It did get a bit dramatic, I didn`t know whether I wanted her to call 999 or NHS24 or not or what? I was all over the place!  I`d never make a nurse. I panic too much.   You were great, giving her the correct phone number.  
She`s got her medication so she should be fine in a couple of days. 

Hi Scotty  i'm just glad she got it sorted. I guess something like that is better treated sooner rather than later. A few years ago I had a burst eardrum and was virtually deaf for a month (I have very little hearing in the other ear) - it was such a miserable (and painful) time.

That must have been awful for you Soozy. I had a slight earache stemming from a toothache last week and that was bad enough so I can only imagine what you went through. 
I`m hoping sandra is sleeping soundly.

I don't envy you having a bad ear...I've had earache once in my life and I'd rather give birth again than have another.

I don't understand why they gave you an anti-inflammatory for it though rather than something to clear the infection.

hya all  .   wow wot a nite   thanks to everyone  ( hugs to sooz )  i went from being a bit worried to being frantic  lol but i'm glad i got checked over  i'm tired and  also glad to know you are all here for me . I still can't hear properly   but  it made work fun today  ,  again  thank you all
