Do that first thing sandra but if you have, what you would consider, too much blood loss, don`t wait, call the emergency services. Have you anyone with you to help you?
Please do get in touch with the Doc.

I had similar recently , was an infection, the middle ear gunk was draining via the eustachian tube hence the nosebleeds.Get it seen to missis!
Get yourself to the quack without passing go. It's an order.

Doesn't matter and means nothing in the scheme of things.
I'm with Scotty on this - it's better to call the emergency services sooner rather than later.
Why not give them a call and see what they advise?

Probably from behind your eardrum- it can;t get out there, so it seeps out via the eustachian tube, and when you lie down it can run outOriginally Posted by sandra:

I'm no medical expert but a nosebleed is normal but ..............some nosebleeds (especially associated with hearing loss) isn't really OK. I don't wish to put the frighteners on but if you don't want to call the doc out at least ring NHS Direct. I hope you're better soon!

I don`t know what`s considered too much sandra but if you`re scared, phone the emergency service right now. Apart from 999 does anyone know the number for the out of hours service? I can`t remember what that service is called.
