Do that first thing sandra but if you have, what you would consider, too much blood loss, don`t wait, call the emergency services. Have you anyone with you to help you?

Probably from behind your eardrum- it can;t get out there, so it seeps out via the eustachian tube, and when you lie down it can run out

I'd call someone tonight sandra. Just to be on the safe side. That's what the NHS is for. Please do it.

I don`t know what`s considered too much sandra but if you`re scared, phone the emergency service right now.

Apart from 999 does anyone know the number for the out of hours service? I can`t remember what that service is called.

I'm sure they can sort it for you before it gets that far, Sandra.  Hence all of us urging you to deal with it now.  You can chat on here until they arrive - get checked - get meds - and you'll be on the mend before you know it.  All from the comfort of your own home.
