I thought it might be her rather than her fashion.

I love Vivenne Westwood. She's a rare British talent - one we should really be proud of.
(And I'll never forget when Snidey Sue Lawley tried to take the piss out of her on a chat show and Vivienne told her where to get off )

This thread is funny

Love or hate her fashion, agree to be proud she's put Great back into Britain.
Also wish I will look as good as her when I'm 68.
One thing you can sy about Vivien Westwood is she is a individual, she wears, wht she wants how she wants.
Also if you look back to her punk fashions of the '70's, how much of it made it's way to the High St, (watered down of course), and how much of it are we still wearing today with the current revival of fashion from that era.
Keep on going Vivian one of fashion's true eccentrics!!

who didn't want one of these in the early '80's!!!!
Have you never seen a nekkid ginger woman before?
I remember getting my dad to make me bracelets by flattening old silver forks and curling the tines round, I thought I looked really good.

And when she turned up a Buckingham Palace minus her knickers loving her
I am amused by the message Vivienne Westwood sent to David in the BB house.
This part of it:
"...please get in touch with me on your release. I want to talk to you about my manifesto: Active Resistance to Propaganda â AR for short. Being a fashion lover is a good start for AR â then you become an art lover, then a freedom-fighter."
Her active Resistance to Propaganda campaign has been poorly received generally and mostly not even understood. Many think it is the work of an eccentric (which it is I suppose.)
But mostly it seems to be considered to be pie-in-the-sky, muddled and fuddled.
If David takes up her offer he may find himself all at sea.
Clothes are one thing; this campaign is quite another.

If I were Vivienne, I'd pay David a big wedge not to wear my clothes, street cred and all that.
Oh god I remember her attending something a few years ago and she wore this see-through catsuit and it was so ugly!
I have no objection to older ladies or anything but it really didn't suit her. It looked like someone wearing tights on their ballsack...

My toast wants to come back out now thanks to that mental image

And David will not have a clue what any of it means
A few years back (about 10) she went to a 'do' in a completely see-through dress, no underwear of course. The pics were in all the papers, I hope you feel my pain.
What has her looks to do with her fashion house?
Our Dewsbury lard thinks Vivienne is the Queen of fashion.

she was bloody ugly when she first apeared on the scene, age has done her no favours.
as for her fasion sense it leaves a lot to be desired, anyone can dress to shock it does not make them a good designer.
