Oh Lancey honey, you know what ol' Inky knew, didn't he issue you with a final warnin' about that gamblin' of yours? Mahnd you, if a serious floggin' from the British Navy couldn't stop you gamblin', why would a threat from ol' Inky? You knew the ships rules about gamin'.

Yeah. How DID you manage to land the job Carry. You're female! They don't like female pirates, it's bad luck so they says.

Erm...actually first question..... are you male or female?

Second question.......how did you get a job on the Blackbird if you're female? How come you get to swan around in a corset, and I had to grow a beard?

If you are so refahned, why do you spend so much time with the prisoners? Why would someone like you be so bothered about them?

Oh  my Do you need glasses, take a look at me. of course i'm a woman,

There is no mystery about me joining the crew I was asked by Blacky he recognized my talents with steerage and navigation of ships. So the corset just enhances my super figure, Maybe if you had my talent you could have had a shave LOL

Oh you stupid bearded blunderbus, do you never listen or has you revolting ear hair simply made you hard of hearing? The Lord purchased some jewels from mah li'l ol' boutique for his lady friend, that is all. His dear wife has no reason to worry on that level.

And NO, I will not lend you any money.

Mind you, I would happily take you to the beauty parlour for if ever there was a woman who needed them, it's you.

So if you excel at navigation and the like, why do you spend so much time below decks trying to make life better for the lowlife prisoners?

I have more pirating talent in my left sideburn then you have in your whole body I was the Captains protege.....and I had to work damn hard to prove myself, and earn everyone elses respect. There's more dignity in shinning up the mast faster than a bilge rat through a port hole than prancing around in corset two sizes too small I'll have you know!

I just wish I had been given the chance to be honest about my gender when the poor Cap'n was alive.

I found out that one of the prisoners was being released for a ransom... I came up with the ide of getting him to pass a note of mine to the Lordships of the Admiralty to tell them where the ship as headed. I could have been rescued.

Hmmm..... that's not what the reliable gossiping old hags of Freetown have to say on the matter.

Come on own up..... did you have the hots for the Lords Long Shank? Erm....Lord Longshanks?

Miss Siverbrass. I be thinking with your close friendship with Longshanks n all If by chance Longshanks did remember his wife's ring and realised that he had been duped into buying his own ring back, things could have been a bit tricky for you! Now he's not a stupid man, he would know Cap'n Black was yer supplier, it could be a case of you having to kill the hand that fed you.

But it wasn't just the one prisoner you 'helped' was it? Ah heard you were often trying to get ol' Inky to improve conditions for them, or get a ransom demand met. Are you sure it was all an attempt to get yourself off the ship?

Saying as you asked. Remember I came from an English ship. I would have welcomed the Blackbird being Ambushed.. I can't be more straight than that.

Ah can assure you that Ah did not kill ol' Inky. What happened with the ring did make things difficult, that is true, but why would Ah have killed Inky? Lord Longshanks bought the ring from me, not Inky and, as far as Ah am aware did not know of my business links with Inky. Ah'm sure Lord Longshanks would have come to me if he had recognised the ring and he never has, so Ah think it maht just work out there.

The ship would have carried a nice purse for it's capture.

We only have your word for that Miss Silverbrass, if you got whiff the lord was about to visit the Cap'n to find out if you knew the ring was his in the first place, Inky was really going to put you in deep water. Longshanks knows exactly who the connections are in Freeport, the mans a cad, but he's not stupid. He would have been livid if he had a inkling you had sold him his wife's ring to give to his trollop
