I said "No cap'n, I ave talent"

He said "Show me, me last fiddler lost an arm in battle"

I said "I don't fiddle, but I have a squeeze box"

He said "Squeeze"

Well my pulsating wench I haven't been travellin' all that long with Capt'n Inky - I'm one of the newer recruits so to speak   to be honest I can't rightly remember if I were on board when Trashy Cassy and Sir Pants-a-lot came on board     I tend to self medicate with the old grog to cope with being on the blackbird and it's turning my brain to mush

As for not being able to say who the plotters were - well wench I was hiding behind a barrel when I first heard the whisperin'  I would have betrayed my presence if I'd have moved closer.  I could see their outlines because there were a flickering deck lantern beside them but it didn't gie me enough light to see them.  Their voice carried on the wind so I heard what they were a saying alright

Give it a rest Sophie Slapperbrass........ leave the man alone! You're slumming it a bit chasing a "Sir" aren't ya? I thought nothing less than a "Lord" was good enough for the likes of you.

Stinking  low life servant? Why I'm more refined that a 15 year old Malt whisky. It was my bad luck to end up here.
