Problem with Warren is he is a hard man to get information from. We need to loosen his tongue somehow. He is not who he seems either.. Just who are you really Warren? You seem even more dangerous than me!
Well Vi just cos ye be asking me I#ll tell ye.
When I was below decks I stole a cask or 2 of gunpowder. This was stashed under the Captains cabin. When a British War Ship came by I was going to blow the stern to high heaven. The ship being disabled would have been easy pickings. I would go home a hero and collect a grand purse.
I never got the chance because of a most pity-full murderer Grrrrrrr.
That be quite cunnin' actcherlly, I be impressed But seems ter me that the cap'n would be dead in that plan too, what with the powder bein' under his cabin an' all. An' I be pretty sure a barrel or two of gunpowder be doin' more than disable a ship, surely?
Warren there is a lot more to you than is plain to sea you dog...
I overheard one of the Powder Monkeys talking of you down below... Ben Dover be his name. He was bragging to his mates about how he told you off for sneaking a look in the Cap'ns private Log Book. He sniggered as he said how you slammed the book shut and hurried away without a word said.
That was a few days ago now. It was not long after that there be a great confluence of sharks in the waters about ship! Ben Dover has not been seen since that time.
All things adding together the air smells rotten when you are around Warren. I'm asking you directly. Did you have anything to do with Bens disappearance?
Pity these powder monkeys weren't see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil
however Ms Trashy Carrie I was suspicious of Capt'n Black tis true enough. I wasn't convinced that all was well with him and I feared for where he was taking us. I did observe how he took sightings of the positions of the sun and the moon. Now I'm not trained in navigational procedures, but something just didn't sit right with me.
I don't know if you realised but the Capt'n wanted to be the only one aboard who logged where the Blackbird visited hence all the silly business with the locking up of the equipment and stuff. I kinda made it my business to keep a log of my own using my newly acquired knowledge of navigation but chose to keep schtum. Risky but I have a very good idea of where this ship has been and where she was due to go next

he be having questions to answer that's for sure He may be more dangerous than you, but we know you can be very dangerous Carry!
Warren seems to be hiding a good many things
He be saying nothing about navigation, he be tellin' lies!.
The Cap'n be blind drunk a few weeks ago, Warren goes to the helmsman and tells him to change course at once and steer 90 degrees to larboard. Not 30 minutes later it was found to be we would have run onto some fearsome rocks. How did he know the boat was in danger and how did he know what course to steer? He be insisting all this time he knows nothin' about navigation and why he be demanding to ignore inky's orders, if he didn't know what he be talking about
Warren either practises whitchcraft or knows much more about navigation than he cares to admit.
I've just explained that my good man - I did it for the good of the ship and t'was risky as the Capt'n didn't want anyone and I mean anyone knowing how to navigate this ship.

Problem with Warren is he is a hard man to get information from. We need to loosen his tongue somehow. He is not who he seems either.. Just who are you really Warren? You seem even more dangerous than me!
Give a man a chance to reply you scurvy maggoty dog. I've answered you and I don't scare easily or respond to threats Ms Carry
I've just explained that my good man - I did it for the good of the ship and t'was risky as the Capt'n didn't want anyone and I mean anyone knowing how to navigate this ship.
Why did ye not own up to this when we asked you after Inky had been murdered, coming clean then would have been more convincing, now it looks as if there is more too it and I'm sure there is Mr Peace Why did the Cap'n not want anyone on board to know, you seem to know why?
So yer taught yerself how ter be a navigator and in a verrrry short time an' all. Hmmmmmm. So, where had yer been and where do yer think ye be goin' next then?
Well some of us are born with intelligence Ms Brator we're able to pick things up quickly and can I say you're looking ravishing tonight

Lance mentions witchcraft there Warren, and it made me think, have ye had anythin' ter do with the Santa Armada Treasure at all? I mean, yer are a snooper an' all that, so mebbe yer have been meddlin' there too.
Why did ye not own up to this when we asked you after Inky had been murdered, coming clean then would have been more convincing, now it looks as if there is more too it and I'm sure there is Mr Peace Why did the Cap'n not want anyone on board to know, you seem to know why?
we're not out of the woods yet in case you've not worked it out - there's a murderer on board. I have to bide my time but all will be revealed in due course I assure you my good man.

Yer might be able ter pick up navigational skills quick enough, but yer'll not pick me up as quick That bizarre tache of yers is not ticklin' may fancy at all.
don't be ridiculous young lady - I don't snoop I observe. As I've told you I intend to write a novel and the best way to get a handle on characters is to observe those that you meet in real life.
And on that subject has anyone seen that drink sodden saw bones Gayle Force?? Shortly before the Captain's death he asked me if I knew anyone who could replace Force as the new ships surgeon.

I'd be preferrin' it if ye revealed what yer know now, I be havin' far better things ter be doin' than this.
Eh Lance?

*scratches chin* if we be in danger of being murdered in our bunks, I be thinking you should explain more.
* wonders if Vi will put me up again tonight, I don't fancy staying on board and she be hot in bed on a cool night*
I'd be preferrin' it if ye revealed what yer know now, I be havin' far better things ter be doin' than this.
Eh Lance?
Vi, me buxom wench, ye be reading my mind (I gargled )

I ain't as dumb as Carry looks and I've heard of summat called 'method actin'' where actors live the role they be a playin'. I be a wonderin' if ye be a 'method writer' and ye be havin' ter live the life ye be a writin' about.
And on that subject has anyone seen that drink sodden saw bones Gayle Force?? Shortly before the Captain's death he asked me if I knew anyone who could replace Force as the new ships surgeon.
Oh yeah, and why be the Cap'n a wantin' ter replace Gayle?
I'd be preferrin' it if ye revealed what yer know now, I be havin' far better things ter be doin' than this.

It did not matter Vi. Is was a dead or alive purse. So long as I survived I did not care Yarrrr!
I ain't as dumb as Carry looks and I've heard of summat called 'method actin'' where actors live the role they be a playin'. I be a wonderin' if ye be a 'method writer' and ye be havin' ter live the life ye be a writin' about.
you don't seriously think someone of my talent would want to be a live as a pirate 'method actin' if I could observe them from the table of a nice little inn in town.
I detest being a pirate shouldn't you be asking Pantsalot why someone of such a noble birth is slumming it with the dregs of society????
I was captured and it suited me to be so, see I'm in the pay of the British Navy and I hold a letter of Marque from His Lordships at the Admiralty. I was under orders to take any steps necessary to secure the head of One Cap'n Inky Black. I was running in Circles on the Troubadour trying to find him and he presents himself to me!!
So I volunteered to serve errr under him the only way a girl pirate can Ha! I had him in more ways than one.
You would have been proud of me girl.
I was just making a plan so that I could capture him and some ingrate goes and kills him the blaggard!! Stomps off...
Mebbe she is, mebbe she ain't. Mebbe I should let yer torture her ter find out?
Slam 'n dunk me reckons
It did not matter Vi. Is was a dead or alive purse. So long as I survived I did not care Yarrrr!
One more question. Was it ye that persuaded the Cap'n not to come into the dock properly? Mebbe yer wanted him ter stay away from the town so yer could blow up the ship without damagin' the town?
And on that subject has anyone seen that drink sodden saw bones Gayle Force?? Shortly before the Captain's death he asked me if I knew anyone who could replace Force as the new ships surgeon.
Oh yeah, and why be the Cap'n a wantin' ter replace Gayle?
Now I can't be understanding why he would want to be replacing her, last I heard she would be leaving ship over his dead body
Old saw bones was invited to study medicine at an Infirmary in Boston, he was over the moon until the Cap'n found out about it. Cap'n Black flew into a rage, seized the invitation and ripped it to piecesand told Gayle the only way he be leaving the ship would be over his dead body... I think Gayle might of oblidged the Cap'n

But Lance has already explained that he not be the posh bloke, he be the posh bloke's footman or summat. He were just pretendin'. He has a real talent fer role play.
You be sounding all tough now.. You aint no writer that's the truth. I think you have a past with the Cap'n. Something he may have long forgotten perhaps, but something you have not. The suspicion falls upon ye squarely at this time.
I DO know about navigation and it aint sumfing you just pick up. You were after scuttling the ship were you not?
And on that subject has anyone seen that drink sodden saw bones Gayle Force?? Shortly before the Captain's death he asked me if I knew anyone who could replace Force as the new ships surgeon.

Vi, me buxom wench, ye be reading my mind (I gargled )

*the thoughts of that me gorgeous wench, warms a mans heart*

It be a mystery a'right Vi, why be wanting to replace him if what Warren says is true, when I know he done everything in his power to stop Gayle going to Boston. even threating him the only way he be leaving the Blackbird was over his dead body.
I'd be preferrin' it if ye revealed what yer know now, I be havin' far better things ter be doin' than this.

It be more than yer heart that be gettin' a warmin, of that yer can be sure.
Just be more careful where ye be a stickin' that thumb this time <<<<< it made me do that last time.

I DO know about navigation and it aint sumfing you just pick up. You were after scuttling the ship were you not?
well some of us can pick things up and some of us pretend to know stuff just because we've jumped from ship to ship picking up bits along the way - so just why don't you ever stay in one place for long??? Did you pick up some info that you tried to blackmail the capt'n with?
I've already said I'm a writer not a fighter - I admit, I'm not a very good pirate but I never wanted to be one - I just wanted to experience pirate life for my book. And I totally refute knowing the Capt'n before embarking on the Blackbird
Simple answer to that one Vi - No! I needed to ship to be in international waters to get me purse.
It be a mystery a'right Vi, why be wanting to replace him if what Warren says is true, when I know he done everything in his power to stop Gayle going to Boston. even threating him the only way he be leaving the Blackbird was over his dead body.
Well, one of yer must be a lyin'. I'll be a worryin' about that later.
But Lance has already explained that he not be the posh bloke, he be the posh bloke's footman or summat. He were just pretendin'. He has a real talent fer role play.
do you have shit mud in your eyes woman and cotton wool in your ears???

perhaps we should just wait for saw bones to arrive and we'll see cos I knows the capt'n was sending saw bones for a walk on the plank as soon as the next surgeon arrived
*the thoughts of that me gorgeous wench, warms a mans heart*

Vi be tellin' the truth Warren, I was footman to the Duke of Devonshire.
