But they're just indigenous British accents. Sree's an Indian national with a culture shared by a large number of our immigrants. We're over-sensitive to how mocking interactions are perceived for our main immigrant groups in particular because we still not quite fully integrated and comfortable. I think it's quite rational, really.

Marcus was being rude and using one of Sree's attributes to mock him. It's the same as Chris and his mocking of Freddie.
