Thread from DS, but it if's true we normally say how stupid people are to complain but that wasn't nice viewing at all Frowner.

Well some people say it darlo, but I think in this instance it is justified. I don't care what people say, BB should step in now and get the monster told about her behaviour.
Clapping Horrible to watch. Like a wolf attacking a child - made me cringe and become angry, all at once! Mad

She couldn't speak to me like that, Lass - trust me.

I'd have slapped ten tons of shite out of her! Mad

There is a huge difference in taunting someone and almost destroying them emotionally and mentally.

I agree ... there is absolutely no comparison there ... and Freddie put up with far more abuse in the early weeks when he was being bullied by Lisa and Kris that what he dished out to Lisa the other day ...

Well... Lisa didn't have a panic/anxiety attack nor was she in any uncertain terms about how Halfwit perceived her. Freddie on the other hand was taken in hook line and sinker by bitch Bea.

Horrible to watch her kick him when he was down then carry on kicking him over and over, vile woman.

I had to turn if off after 10 mins, couldn't take it.

I hope her family and friends are proud of her.

Not sure about OFCOM but I do think that they should query the editorial judgement that decided to show Freddie being hurt and humiliated. I accept that it was very revealing of how nasty Bea was being and perhaps they did need to show her returning over and over for another dig at Freddie.
But given that they have 24 hours of footage did they need to show F's misery? Poor guy...

Bizarre!
I'm not surprised bb is dying a long slow death. Nod

Possibly because some people don't like to watch a man being emotionally destroyed for our entertainment. If it was a bloke doing it to a woman, would you have the same opinion?
I like Freddie as much as the next person but the only thing wrong with him is that he fancied Bea like crazy and he just can't handle the fact that she is not the person who he originally thought she was and that she doesn't indeed fancy him.
Like Marcus says"its a game show".
He should get over her and the fact that hes not as astute as he thought he was

HugPwillow....It was sickening horrible to watch ....I got so stressed I got buzzing in my ears....I can't begin to imagine how Freddy felt being so close to that mare.

I totally agree. I found it very upsetting to watch and game show or not this was not entertainment

So do I! Rodrigo felt humiliated and did not wish to be on camera while he was so upset BB milked it and took advantage of it! Yet they never showed Charlies extreme nasty behaviour when Rodrigo touched
Charlies bed !
BTW George Lamb actually played the part when Freddie could barely keep things together and got a cheap laugh from the audience when he took the P out of Freddie! That so annoyed me!

You haven't answered my question. If it was a bloke mentally and emotionally abusing a woman, would you still have the same opinion and say she should "get over it"? There is such a thing as having empathy for someone, and I defy anyone out there who has a heart, not to have felt for him in tonight's HL show. If there are folk out there who still think Freddy is in the wrong and Bea is in the right, then I despair of mankind.

What a load of old TOSS! Roll Eyes WTF has 'being astute' got to do with being broken-hearted and then trashed by the very 'object of your affections?'

What planet are you on? Do you think or believe that clever people don't get their hearts broken?

Emotions are completely seperate from intelligence - its a flaw of being human and when we manage to overcome this, we'll continue this conversation.

Hi Hug

I have to admit, this has really upset me tonight and angered me as have some of the comments I have read. Yes, we are indeed all different and entitled to differing opinions, but some of the comments have been hard to take. I am glad OFCOM are receiving complaints, shows that there are people who don't want to see this sort of thing and are willing to stand up and say so.

Ofcom are needed for bigga and more serious issues than that pompous ass and his falseness.

He is neither pompous nor false. Her attack on him was more than about his negativity (which was her own negativity shoved onto him) and went on for ours. Over two days.

I'm a "Freddie fan". I won't be phoning ofcom, never have, but I don't think he was over reacting, just naturally reacting to how he felt
