They played a story game. Making up fantasies.
When it was Dave's turn he referred to a woman with "one eye" and one arm.
So-----because Steve has one eye the whole saga has blown up into something akin to the end of the world.
Dave refuses to be reassured by Steve (who is not even slightly offended.)
I cannot help but think that Dave is wallowing in attention and self-pity.
Very immature for a man of God.

So where is the issue? Did somebody in the house take offence?
Apparently not.But Dave will not be convinced of that.
Is he so hypersensitive (his general attitude and PR would suggest not)?
Or does he revel in attention and self-pity?  That's my guess.
As far as I know nobody took offence - yet Dave reacts as if the whole world had.
So Dave has put himself into a position of never, ever being able to refer to a disability ever again in the whole of his life without feeling he has upset everyone.
