If I had suffered the loss of a child( taking as read their lack of care played it's unintentional part) and the policeman, leading the manhunt for the abductor so quickly wrote and published a book, alleging that as the parent I had been involved in the child's death and cover up,I'd be suing the police as well.

His position gave credence to his  theory, I think it stinks tha\t he continues to mess about and  keeps delaying the hearing.

I think he dismissed his lawyer, so the proceedings have been postponed.

mine is-they should not claim

everyone knows the cop is a tw@t & a useless one

however

they should say if they win theyre giving the money to a charity

but then again if they win the money could go towards the search for the kid

which has run into millions now

it would be a hard call what to do with dosh if they won

they wouldnt be able to do right for doing wrong

It must be hard for them knowing that people think they killed their own kid and covered it up. It's bad enough losing your kid, but that would make it even worse.

If I didn't know where my child was I think I'd be more interested in looking for her than concerning myself with the opinion of one man.

They are supposed to have lots of supporters - why worry about those that aren't..?

I'd say that when that one man was the fella leading the manhunt,it suggests he probably didn't do his job as he'd already decided what had happened and who was responsible,so no one bothered  anymore about actually doing the investigating, added to that is the additional misery  it caused grieving parents.

In an ideal world the parents  would concentrate solely on the hunt for their child,but I think most of us would want one small piece of justice for an injustice done to them.

 

But I do understand  the point you are making,but when people and emotions are involved logic  tends to take a back seat.
