I agree it's too white. Don't know about anyone else but the text is pale grey and almost disappears into the white, I'll end up with eye strain

It's not anything new, it's just in a new position. It used to be in the right hand column.

Can I make a plea .....I appreciate that the changes are causing major problems for a lot of people , but can we perhaps keep the complaints ....valid though they are ....to the stickied * new forum threads * ....and out of the programme threads

I agree the blinding white is too much especially if you are using a monitor. I changed the background colour on both the posting section and the side bits on another hoopla forum to something less blinding, a muted light blue and a slightly darker blue at the sides. .similar to the colours in the message boxes now . .  it's easily done. .maybe if people ask they'll do it.  .. If I ask they'll just see it as Olly moaning again

I do wish they'd fix the spell check problem tho

It is so easy to fix the stark white background too. . as I said I did it on another hoopla forum. . choose a darker blue hue for background and a lighter one for the scrolling widget and message middle area. . competely changes it...

think the design of the thread titles is a different matter,  that may be part of the main forum template so not so easy to change.. pretty daft tho, they must take up half a page on a phone or a tablet as there are so many lines per thread, but  I don't use anything other than a PC for the forum or any of my online stuff doesn't affect me so much plus I only tend to dip in and out now and then..

I feel the same, so far I can't find anything to like about the changes, and having a PC and iPad it's frustrating that both respond differently to the changes.

You're probably right. I've never seen the film so those tags mean little to me other than just random words but presumably they relate to it.
