Is Narnia behind the store ?

ANYONE who calls themselves "passionate"
"I'm passionate about security systems"
I run a mile - its terrifying !!!!
YES, YES, YES, YES, YES - TOTALLY AGREE.
We have a new boss who is really shaking things up, to the point that he has disestablished all jobs in the department and made it a free for all at the interviews. You can apply for anything on any grade !! Crazy.
But his current buzz word is "I'm not necessarily looking for experience, but people with a passion to suceed in their new role".
.
WHAT?!! Please tell me you're not a surgeon and the receptionist hasn't applied for your job!
Seriously.. do you work for David Brent ?!
Fortunately Slinkiwitch, I am not a surgeon. I am a pilot.
Only kiddin !!!
I wish I did work for David Brent, I would then understand the whole thing, and have a good old laugh along the way...
What scares me is the current celebrity culture and how the youth seem to think being a celebrity is a valid ambition.
How they attend X-Factor auditions, but have never had a singing lesson in their lives, despite it being their "dream". Utter rubbish, Dream my a***.
Get a work ethic and learn to work for your position in society.
Highly intelligent children !!!
I kinda have to look at them with my head on a slant - they aint right.
Something is seriously spooky with those kids.
That GAP between the platform and the carriage !!! Eeeek
I once saw someone fall down the gap between the platform and the train.
OMG that's terrible - were they alright?
I believe the "gap" leads to the back of the Argos store

You've got Argos on the brain.
The woman was fine, although a wee bit shaken up. A hunky chap jumped down and lifted her back onto the platform - he got a round of applause from the other commuters.
PLEASE tell me he worked for Argos
It wud be sublime!!!

I doubt it.
I had imagined him to be a fireman.
Opening a bottle of fizzy.
I always fear its gonna go bang - the whole bottle !!!

I'm often worried my shoe will fall off as I'm stepping on/off the train
Opening a bottle of fizzy.
I always fear its gonna go bang - the whole bottle !!!
OMG ... that sounds plain awful
I don't like opening fizzy (sparkling) wine either. We all got a bottle of champagne when we started working where we are and I gave it away to my uncle. It was his 70th birthday round about then and I wouldn't have drunk the whole bottle by myself anyway
If you stick a teaspoon handle in the bottle it keeps its fizz for a couple of days Sproooooty
Now she tells me!
i was a bit concerned about this 2012 end of it all type of thing, but then i read that the mayans didnt account for leap years in their calendar and we should have all gone bang 7months ago

I unwisely viewed a pic of a person on the track with half their head on the platform and the rest on the track..bleurgh!
Venrilogist dummies and those clowns in glass cases at the seaside
Ahh I remeber going to Blackpool yonks ago and watching the "laughing clown" That was when the "Funhouse " was still operating ..It burnt down years later.
On a more serious note..Cologne none of us here really know what you are you are going through...so all I'm saying is...hugs and that.
In all honesty the biggest thing i fear is people.
But i also fear being without them
Plenty to fear and yeah "people" are behind a lot of it.
When you fill up your shopping trolley then at the check out you bag it all up . . . and suddenly there seems to be more - it all won't fit back in the trolley !!!

I'm more afraid I haven't got enough money when I get to the check out because I add things that I don't need I'm easily seduced by offers you see
