Sky news just announced 'they have arrested a 46 year old woman on suspicion of murder'  and a 30 year old man for assisting an offender. 

the gran?   

sounds like it doesn't it - she's not been seen since they took her out of the house yesterday.  Gawd this story gets grimmer by the minute 

Think it must be.... I just hope she had nothing to do with it, I just can't get my head around a Gran being an accomplice to something so horrible 

Sky just confirmed it is the grandmother    I have a feeling we'll hear how she was so in love with this guy she'd do anything for him.  I can't get the feeling that this child was abused while he was living with her mother and that it continued when he moved onto the grandmother

that hasn't been told yet but the sky news reporter was suggesting he helped Hazell or possibly the grandmother move the body back into the house after it had been searched.  Another friend of mine is suggesting the police found the body in the loft 

pengy - i was just saying I've got a feeling there's a horrible story of all sorts of abuse behind this.  poor child.    Has the mother surfaced yet?  They must know where she is, surely?

The bloke also arrested Paul Meehan is a neighbour of the grandmother and is the neighbour who allegedly told the police he'd seen Tia leave the house.  

Jesus I hadn't seen that bit on the news.  This just gets worse and worse.  Has the mothers whereabouts been mentioned yet?  It makes you wonder if the whole lot of them weren't involved. 

I've just read that apparently they were moving her body between the roof spaces of neighbouring houses. it makes you wonder how many others have been involved in this? 

 Holy god,tbh though Dame what kind of mother would even contemplate having a relationship with her daughters ex, strange strange people imo.

The story gets more gruesome with each bit of news coming out. It's hard to think about what the poor child must have gone through, absolutely sickening.

 It's absolutely terrible Rose,we don't know the circumstances of her death yet poor darling but knowing her little remains were lain hidden by them and rumoured to have been moved makes my blood run cold....As a mum and a grandmother if anyone harmed my kids or grandkid's  I don't know if I'd be able to control myself tbh.

I'm wondering if the boyfriend was getting close to the little girl and the gran found out and was jealous of her and it was the gran that killed her but the boyfriend helped hide her as the gran knew what he had been up to with the granddaughter and would report him

I heard on Sky news that there are 219 sex offenders living in that area and my blood went cold .Now her own Gran is involved along with her mothers ex boyfriend I think  there is much more to this sad story still to come out .

Her mother has failed to return to the area ,that must tell the police something .Reading the paper there is a picture of the gran sitting on the grass outside the police station having a smoke with not a care in the world.Not that its relevant but she looks like Rose West.

I know or should I say knew the area well Erin - it is a huge council estate - a lot of the slums in Croydon were cleared 45/50 years ago - it was all built around greens and was a flagship.

I'm 55 - when I was a teenager it was as rough as Hell - it's got even worse in more recent years. It's a horrible place and I feel sorry for anyone decent who has to live there. Sounds like it's become a dumping ground for all the low lives.

From what i can make out on Sky news it looks like they are questioning the Gran on suspicion of murder and the boyfriend for helping cover up the crime

ITV news also said the family were known to Social Services which suggests there were problems 

I find it almost impossible to believe that her Gran could be implicated, then again I still get shocked at the behaviour of some human beings.

shocking isn't it like i said earlier it always surprises me how quick some women let new boyfriends into the family home when they have young children, but in this case i think it will turn out to be the gran and not the boyfriend
