Oh yes, I remember slime. It was icky sticky stuff but very good fun
Does anybody remember the slinky. It was a kind of spring like thing that could walk down the stairs. Very simple but very effective.

OMG Heat, you did that too!
I had the "Viewmaster" - the one like a pair of binoculars with a lever on the side that turned the picture wheel.

I had one of those but only ever had two slides .........the one that came with it which was wild life/geographical and Peter Pan ..........kept me entertained for hours on end though.
My brother gave me his - it always looked quite odd 3-D and dazzled my eyes but was v v effective
The only ones we had were wildlife

KENNY EVERETT
This guy was always a bit of a hero of mine
Why are there no real characters like him anymore?

I enjoyed the Kenny Everett clip Renton, even Bernard Manning made me laugh...he asked Kenny if he got paid the same as a professional
1970'S TV series 'Thriller' written by Brian Clemens used to scare the living daylights out of me when I was a kid so much so I had to check inside the wardrobe and under my bed before I could think about closing my eyes and sleeping.
It was a spine-chilling classic which rarely gets a mention these days so I thought I'd see if anyone else remembered it.
The first two seasons (1973 â 1974) attracted some of the best talent around at the time.
Thriller opening sequence
1) Lady Killer (Barbara Feldon, Linda Thorson & Robert Powell)
2) Possession (Joanna Dunham, John Carson & Hilary Hardiman)
3) Someone At The Top Of The Stairs (Donna Mills & Judy Carne)
4) An Echo Of Theresa (Paul Burke, Polly Bergen & Vernon Dobtcheff)
5) The Color Of Blood (Norman Eshley & Katherine Schofield)
6) Murder In Mind (Zena Walker, Richard Jordan & Donald Gee)
7) A Place To Die (Bryan Marshall, Alexandra Hay & Lila Kaye)
8) File It Under Fear (Maureen Lipman & Richard OâCallaghan)
9) The Eyes Have It (Peter Vaughan & Sinead Cusack)
10) Spell Of Evil (Edward De Souza, Diana Cliento & Iris Russell)
11) Only A Scream Away (Hayley Mills, Gary Collins & Jeremy Bulloch)
12) Once The Killing Starts (Patrick OâNeal and Michael Kitchen)
13) Kiss Me & Die (George Chakiris, Jenny Agutter & Hunter Russell)
14) One Deadly Owner (Donna Mills, Jeremy Brett & Laurence Payne)
15) Ring Once For Death (Barry Nelson and Nyree Dawn Porter)
16) K Is For Killing (Steven Rea, Christopher Casenove & Gayle Hunnicut)
17) Sign Of Death (Francesca Annis, Patrick Allen & Sheila Fearne)
18) Who Killed Lamb? (Stanley Baker, Denis Lili & Peter Salis)
There is a DVD box set available I think but for those who just want a taster below are clips making up a whole episode.
A Coffin For The Bride ~ Part 1/7
A Coffin For The Bride ~ Part 2/7

Just been watching a blast from the past - Lace staring Phoebe Cates about the actress looking for her mother. It was out in 1984 and was famous for the line
"Which one of you biatches is my mother?"
anyone else remember it or are you all too young

Hi Renton
I remember something similar called "Bengal Matches" which were also wrapped in paper inside the matchbox. They would glow red or green when burning and you only got a few in a box. They stopped selling them for safety reasons...
