So the Post Office has closed accounts for benefits payments, ie, disabilities/pensions etc..

Sad really - the DSS for some reason is no longer paying it's money into the Post Office and so it is slowly reducing it's role in our lives. We've used the Post Office for this services for years - it's a shame we won't be going there as much

Yes, it’s such a shame ….and sad for those older people who still want to use it for their pensions etc .

Shame the old pictures don't show up....had a bit of a giggle going through this thread
Nostalgia in itself right there..

Sometimes, the pictures were posted from an encrypted site and have since become inaccessible.
If it wasn't a picture but a Youtube clip, it may be possible to get it back. The poster would need to edit the post, click on the Source code icon (the last one of the row of icons). Look for the address of the clip. If it starts with http, add an s to it to make https, click OK to get back to the reply box to see if the clip is now shown. I was able to do that for such a clip on the previous page. Won't work if the clip is no longer on Youtube.

Had a go at the first page. Was able to update the forum emoticons but not the images.

Sadly El, the majority of those posters no longer visit here do they.
Thanks for having a go at updating the emoticons
