I used to love my kaleidoscope when I was little, the ever changing shapes and colours. Haven't seen one for ages.

I'm just a shade too young for Z Cars, but I remember the theme tune.
Edit: Correct me if I'm wrong, but do Everton come out to the Z Cars theme?

They do EC I don't know what the significance is though
I know my parents had Z-cars on (channel10) but I don't really remember much about it. There was a seargent (or detective) Crawford - I believe - Or was that Dixon of Dock Green?

I don't even know how I knew that Sprout. I will have to ask at work, failing that I will do a bit of Googling ... But it will have to be tomorrow as I'm off to bed now.
Did he also play a character in 'The Newcomers'? I know that's where we first saw Wendy Richards.
Me too Baz, but there wasn't much else on then, LOL, and Welsh speaking programs were on during the afternoon.
I have no knowledge of these strange words you utter!

And the half hour Disney on a Bank Holiday...after the inevitable Bond Movie!

It was my mum who was in charge of writing the scores down maggie! Saturday afternoons always followed the pattern - Grandstand, wresting, pools results and for some reason we always had fry up for saturday tea. The men of the house got a pork chop if we were flush... the girls and younger ones got sausages (I was youngest AND a girl - I had no chance!) I remember the joy of trying pork chops for the first time (and findng them a bit disappointing but not wanting to admit it)
