A water main burst at 10am yesterday and it is still not repaired.
Called Northumrian Water hot line...
No answer
No recorded info
Called the "Report a leak" and waited 10mins,
"We don't know when it will be fixed"

The water is OFF all over the place with NO warning at all
I know it's annoying, but as a burst main is not an expected or scheduled thing, they can't really give the affected people any warning, can they.

This main burst over 24hrs ago. Its been gushing water ever since.
We have had NO info or warnings about who (if anyone) could be affected.
Surrounding areas had water for at least 15hours after the burst.
We woke to find NO water and NO info anywhere.
This is AFTER they said local water supplies should not be affected.

We're supplied by Northumbrian water, I haven't noticed any change in our supply but will pay more attention to it tonight.I've not had a shower/bath

That's a disgrace, Renton! Glad it's finally sorted. Water rates are astronomical and when something like this happens, makes you wonder what you're paying for, eh?!
