There's a spot in old Tirconnell
With a wee house in the glen
Where dwelt an Irish colleen
Who'd woo the hearts of men
She was winsome, fair and hearty
Shined graceful as a fawn
It was love that widow's daughter
Happy laughing Noirin Bawn ....We'll just sing Shar
Now you two are making me cry.
If I hadn't been a fan of Noirin what I read here today would have changed my mind. Some awful stuff was said

Now my one...............Oh the Green and Red of Mayo I can see it still.
It's soft and craggy boglands it's tall majestic hills.
Where the ocean kisses Ireland and the waves caress it's shore, oh the feeling it came over me to stay forever more..............forever more.
(Sawdoctors).
Shar. Were Noirin's fans questioned about where they came from? I wasn't around a lot tonight.

The green and red of Mayo ...
I'll give you a laugh tates ... I'm a Dub, as you know, I live in Kildare ... the Principal of my daugher's school is a Mayo woman and the school uniform has been specially co-ordinated to reflect the Mayo colours ... A whole school of Kildare schoolchildren forced to wear Mayo colours ...

Way to go Teach. Our Club Colours are Green and Red as well.
As an aside to that Shar. Get ready for an invasion of the Green & Red. The Club U14s got through to Feile and are being hosted by Naas and our youngest is on the team. I'm hoping to go but hotel rooms are hard to find.

Don't look for accommodation in Naas tates ... try the outskirts ... If all else fails, I have a spare room ...
Night night, lovely Noirin fans.

Night spidermonkey ...
Sorry ... we've sort of hijacked this thread and gone off-topic ...
Sorry Tweety ....
It's not easy. Himself has a 'single' room booked in Lawlor's (I think) and they are nearly tripling the price of a double room. So I don't know if I can make it.
Think he's gonna be stuck in a hot press somewhere on the 3rd floor.
All the parents are booked into the same hotel so if we stayed somewhere else we'd be away from the crack so I don't know what's happening.

I know what you mean ... you really have to get in early to book for any events that are held in the towns around Kildare ...
...........anyway back to the lovely Noirin.
I had it out with a particular FM during CBB that the Republic of Ireland cannot vote in Big Brother.
The same FM has been posting nasty stuff about her today and I wonder if there's an ulterior motive?

Not sure Tayto ... but there are a few people who have real vendettas against the girl ...
I can't answer that. One person did surprise me today with the words that were used but I don't think it was an anti- Irish thing.
I know who I'm watching and wishing I could find the words to reply.

I hope all the, Noirin, supporters vote, because we need all the votes we can get should she ever be up.
Hi Noirinnn. Unfortunately we can't in ROI.
They show us the show and take theaedvertisimg revenue but don't let us vote.
